I'll skip the early years of 'how' and 'why' I got so into music, and jump ahead to when DJing became a 'thing'...
I was bitten by the record collecting bug in my early teens and was persuaded to DJ at my local youth club and various parties. first ‘proper’ gig was for the launch of a new record label in central London. eventually I found myself with a session at the Goldmine Club in Essex, where the small back bar became a Jazz room. This in turn led to making respected and regular contributions to various gigs across the South East of England.
Playing out.... (past highlights)

I Currently run ‘The Village’ with Garth ‘Boogiebwoy’ Thomas and Ginger Tony. This takes place on the first Sunday of the month at Trapeze Basement Bar, Shorditch. London.
I am also proud to be a part of the Summer Soulstice Festival, This yearly charity event has raised so far in excess of £250,000! This coming October I’ll be back in Croatia on the lovely Island of Brac, for the week long Bol Soul event.
First lengthy stint on radio was with the now defunct but influential Soul 24/7 internet radio station. from the first day it launched until it’s untimely closure 5 years later, I presented a weekly jazz show, ‘Eclectic Jazz’ I then found a new home for the show at Starpoint Radio, where I've been broadcasting weekly for the last 9 years.
I started 'The ‘Eclectic Lounge’ show in 2010 where it run for over 5 years on Back2backfm.
I’m excited to be bringing ‘The Eclectic Lounge’ to Likwid. The idea of this show is to explore and pull together the threads of the various styles of music that have and continue to be inspirational to me, as well as promoting new artists and supporting independant labels. My passion for music has resulted in an ever expanding collection of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Brazilian, World. Blues, Disco, Afro Beat, Broken Beats, Nu-jazz and music that defies being pigeon-holed. Pulling this rich mixture of joyful sounds together is both a challenge and a pleasure.
